Welcome to Yarrowlumla Estates.
Yarrowlumla Estates is a boutique winery, established in 2004. Yarrowlumla is an Aboriginal name, meaning “where the cry comes back from the mountains” or “echo’, and was chosen due to the position of the estate, above Bungendore, NSW.
Our wines are made exclusively from grapes grown, and hand picked in our cool climate vineyard in the hills above Bungendore, NSW, in the Canberra District wine growing region. The Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc varietals were planted in 1996 and have produced seven vintages. In 2008 we planted a block of Pinot Noir and are looking forward to its first vintage around 2012.
